The 1st of hopefully many movie nights will be on Sunday, May 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will be showing “War Room.”
For those who have not seen this, it is a powerful movie — it is not about military action. It is a movie about family dynamics, forgiveness, evangelism (one person at a time), intercessory prayer and much more — plus it is entertaining. John and I are looking forward to seeing it again because we were very moved and uplifted by it.
We will be serving hot dogs, chips and popcorn — and if you come, you might even have access to some Raisinets or Milk Duds. Come a little early to prepare your hot dogs, etc. because the movie will start promptly at 6:15 p.m. and will last 120 minutes. We will take about 15-30 minutes afterwards for comments from the peanut gallery about their feelings on the movie.
Anyone who wants us to have a nursery attendant please let me know. This movie is rated PG but we want everyone to be able to enjoy the movie. And, if you need your favorite lawn chair, we can move a table and make room.
